This is Jon Snow’s sword from Games of Thrones; in the book and movie film. Let me first apprise you about Jon Snow. Jon Snow, a son of Ned Stark’s bastard was reared at Winterfell on near-equal footing with his homies. He joined the Night’s Watch where he serves as a steward to Lord Commander Mormont.

This is a great historical piece, this was made as a three-cord Damascus almost Viking-type sword blade. We did an 11 layers laminate and we will take six layers of 1075 and five layers of 15 and 20 so we will do three bars going to clamp together. TIG welds them up and then this will be put in a forge and gorged out into a solid piece.

Once they were a solid homogenous billet, we drew it out to a half-inch long onto the power hammer and then brought it over to the post spice and did a really tight twist throughout. Two of the three bars were twisted to the right and the other bar was twisted to the left.

Forge this blade to shape it a little bit hand––hammering over the horn of the anvil-shaped.

You don’t have to maintain stainless steel but if you do get fingerprints on it, you have to wipe them off otherwise the acid and the fingerprints will get into the blade but that’s the only precautions you have to consider while using it.
